Thanks for visiting...

I provide Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy, Mindful Self-Compassion and other emerging approaches for Adults with a range of Mental Health problems including those with complex disorders including Trauma and Childhood Emotional Neglect.

I am a highly experienced CBT practitioner. I have been in practice for 18 years and for the past 15 years have been Accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. I have recently been Re-Accredited until August 2024. The Accreditation means that I have Clinical Supervision from an Accredited Supervisor and undertake regular training in order to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

My practice is very open in that I try to minimise the power imbalance in the therapeutic relationship by helping patients to take a full part in any decisions about their treatment, and helping them to make difficult changes in their lives with their agreement. I regularly review with them their progress and goals for therapy in order to maximise the benefits of their time and work with me.

Throughout their treatment I help patients to learn to become their own therapist. This means that, in any future difficult times they can use the skills and knowledge they acquire in therapy to help themselves.

I work face-to-face and using the online video tool Zoom.
